The Ghost Art Gallery was established in 1974 in the historic mining district of Helena. The original gallery offered mostly paintings of buildings and themes from the several surrounding ghost towns near Helena - thus the name Ghost Art.

After 48 great years on the walking mall we’ve downsized and moved to the upper level of our building to combine both gallery and frame shop with easier access and parking. The gallery is located in what used to be Big Dorothy’s brothel.

We offer original oils, watercolors, pastels and etchings as well as Giclée prints from several local artists.  Along with art we offer the highest quality framing available with certified picture framers on staff to help you design the perfect picture frame.
